Artist Profile: Jim Breazeale aka Spoon aka Spoony aka Shift E, VonSchpoon or some just him Phil.

Born: November 29, 1961 in San Francisco, California. American Indian "half bread".

Co Founder: Mutilators World Wide.

Spoon spent most of his childhood years in the beautiful San Fernando Valley area of Southern California. Inspired by artists like Roth and Williams.

Schpoony received a B.F.A. in Graphic Design in 1992 from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.

Spoony has worked for wide range clients such as Nickelodeon, Warner Bros, Hanna Barbara, Interscope Records, The NFL, and even Uncle Disney.

Phil has taught Graphic Design classes at Art Center and has work published in Graphics, Communication Design, AIGA, and Print Magazine.

Shift E has a long history of artists in his family. His dad Jim was a jazz drummer for the world famous band that no one ever heard of The Mod 3 Trio.

His sisters Lori and Kathy two artists in their own right and his uncles Lance and J.J. who are also well known artists.

(Lance is living proof that it's never too late to graduate from high school)

Currently, Spoonshift is living in the redwood mountains of Kneeland, California with his wife Stacy (her real name) and their two goats and five cats yeeeh haaaw!
