Eric Pigors Toxic
Toons.
Eric
Pigors: " I usually do a page of thumbnail sketches, until I get a good
idea of what i'm going to do. Then, I will usually blow up the thumbnails
and rework the images until i'm happy with the drawing. Then, I do a cleanup
drawing in pen & ink or pencil and xerox it. I use
Prisma pens to color them in, and cut them out and glue them on to the
backgrounds which are usually done in spray paint or crayons and collages
of old photos. Most of my artwork is 11x16 inches, but some go as large
as 22x26. You might want to check out my book.
It
is a limited edition of 2000 copies, and it is a 8x10 soft cover
(82 pages of color, and 62 black & white). The artwork is
in the same vein as Mad Magazine, Dr. Suess, and Big Daddy Roth's
Rat Fink. It's all illustrations! And it's more fun than staring
at raw meat! It's only $20.00 plus $3.00 shipping, overseas add
$6.00 for shipping."
