The Team Moldy & Jack

The car had been sent to a friend for an engine swap.(in trade for our donor hearse)  But the installation was done incorrectly and the engine he had purchased needed to be rebuildt.

They say if ya want things done right do it your self. So I called Jack a fellow Mutilator member and we got started right away.

Engine: Chevy 350 / Nickel Iron Block with a 4 bolt main.

Our Findings: The engine had been rebuilt at sometime and then serviced and reassembled on a later date. When the engine was serviced who ever did the job had put the pistons back in the wrong cylinders and some of the rods had been reversed so most all of the bearings were hammered and the crank was thrashed too.

So we sent the engine to D&F machining in Palmdale California to be re machined and a short block built.
